Founded by Angad Bir Singh Kohli, a seasoned entrepreneur and real estate investor, The Rise was born from a passion to build innovative, community-driven work environments that spark collaboration, productivity, and long-term growth.
Angad Bir Singh Kohli is a dynamic entrepreneur with a deep-rooted passion for building thriving businesses and communities. His journey began in 2011, when he joined his family’s food processing business. Over the years, he led multiple expansion projects, setting up new facilities and scaling operations across regions. In 2019, this venture was successfully acquired by one of India’s top poultry processing companies—a milestone that marked the beginning of a new chapter.
Following the acquisition, Angad moved to Canada, where he built a successful career in real estate as a realtor, investor, and developer. His keen understanding of property markets and knack for creating value-driven spaces laid the foundation for his next big idea. In 2023, Angad returned to India with a renewed vision—to build a workspace that goes beyond desks and Wi-Fi. That vision became The Rise Co-Working: a premium, community-focused co-working space designed to support entrepreneurs, freelancers, and growing teams in Mohali. Through The Rise, Angad combines his experience in real estate with his passion for entrepreneurship—to create a work environment that empowers people, sparks innovation, and inspires growth.
